Who This Is For

Is Your Heat Pump Not Working Properly?
This service is for homeowners whose heat pump isn't working as it should.
If you've searched for help because your system has no heating or hot water, keeps returning the same fault codes, or just doesn't feel right even though your installer says everything's fine, this is exactly the kind of problem we diagnose every week.
This review is ideal if:
✔ Your heat pump has no heating or hot water, and no one's given you a clear reason why.
✔ You keep getting the same fault code, even after it's been reset.
✔ Your installer insists everything is working correctly, but it doesn't feel right to you.
Unlike an installer, we have no reason to defend anyone's work — our only job is to find out what's actually happening and help you fix it.

What We Check
]
Here's What We Look At
No heating or hot water. Can be as simple as a mode accidentally left on "hot water only" or a holiday setting still switched on, or it can point to a bigger issue with the compressor, refrigerant charge, or system controls.
Fault codes that keep returning. A code clearing itself and coming back is rarely random — usually the underlying trigger hasn't actually been fixed, just reset.
Heat pump running constantly. Often means the system is struggling to meet heat demand, which can come down to sizing, flow temperature, or heat loss rather than the heat pump itself being faulty.
Electricity bills much higher than expected. A heat pump that's technically "working" can still be running far less efficiently than it should, often due to flow temperature settings or poor system balancing.
House never reaching temperature. Usually traces back to flow temperature, radiator or underfloor sizing, or how the system has been configured.
Pressure dropping repeatedly. We help identify whether the pressure loss is caused by a leak, a faulty component, or another underlying issue before it leads to bigger problems.
Heat pump keeps turning on and off (short cycling). Frequent starting and stopping puts unnecessary wear on the system and is usually a sign it isn't sized or controlled correctly for your home.
Installer says everything is working correctly, but it doesn't feel right. One of the most common reasons homeowners contact us — an independent second opinion can confirm whether it's a genuine issue or just a heat pump behaving differently to your old boiler.
